Sell Team Academy has been impacting our community for over 50 years! We better the lives of our students through Martial Arts and the teachings of Taekwondo. We give our students the drive to exceed their potential and make them strong leaders in the world. Our legacy lives on from our late founder, Senior Grandmaster Edward B. Sell, and we will continue to impact our community for many years to come.
Who we Are And why You Should Train Here
Our story begins with our founder, Senior Grandmaster Edward B. Sell. He is the highest ranked non-Asian in the world, in Taekwondo, and his credentials and reputation are world-renowned. He is also the founding President of one of the oldest Taekwondo institutions in America, the United States Chung Do Kwan Association (USCDKA), est. 1967.
Senior Grandmaster Edward B. Sell met his wife, Grandmaster Brenda Sell while teaching Taekwondo and she is now the highest ranked American woman in the world in Taekwondo. After Senior Grandmaster Edward Sell passed away, she took over the USCDKA as the Kwan Jang and works on a daily basis to improve the lives of all the members.
The power couple have two sons, Master Ron Sell and Master Robert Sell (both being 7th Degree Black Belts). Master Robert Sell is now the Sr. Master and Owner of Sell Team Academy of Taekwondo and continues his family’s legacy.
